In Hongdee, iPhone is connected to a slit lamp named Phonto. You can download the “slit lamp imaging system” in your app store. It’s a free app software.
iPhone slit lamp can take images, and videos, adjust magnification and light, and also store patients’ files. Before aligning the camera with the module, make sure the module gets light from the supplier, and rotate the knob clockwise to split the beam to the Phonto module.
Two ways:
- use your iPhone camera, open the camera, and align the camera to make sure it stays in focus.
- Run the” imaging system” app, go to the “Set Up” menu, turn on “Focus Mode” then align the camera to make sure it stays in focus.

If your slit lamp brand and model are not on our list, don’t worry, you can measure some slit lamp sizes as we showed in the picture, then we will confirm with our technical team.
